GALAXY OF KEY WORDS & TERMS

      At School of Traffic Control Training, we realize that many people use different words and terms to label and interpret the same name, lingo, or jargon involved with Traffic Control devices and how they are used.  We feel like a good decision is an informed decision and, for this reason, we have developed a list of key words and terms which will be presented during our courses. This list includes the proper term, commonly-used terms, and misuses of the term and its definition. Using this list on the job will help you improve communication and increase safety in your work zones. Here is an example of some terms and their misuse:
